Overview
The Pathways feature in the ASPS Insights helps managers support targeted development through personalized learning plans. Pathways guide users through sequenced learning activities that align with skill-building goals and performance needs.
Within the Track > Pathways section, managers can view their team's progress, monitor completion timelines, and stay aligned with development goals. Pathways are structured using Objectives and can include various activity types to ensure skill growth and accountability..
What Are Pathways?
Pathways are structured learning plans that help sellers focus on specific development areas. They are designed to guide users through content and activities that build critical sales skills over time. Pathways can be aligned to role expectations, team goals, or key business priorities.
Each Pathway includes a series of assigned tasks, called objectives, that users complete in a set timeframe. These may include learning modules, performance goals, or practice-based assignments.
Pathway Components
Each Pathway is constructed using Objectives. Managers and Admins can choose from the following types:
- Standard Objective: Free-text activities or prompts.
- Video Pitchback: Users record and submit skill demonstrations.
- Metric-Based: Tasks tied to numerical goals, such as meetings booked.
- Learning Objective: Assigned modules or formal course completions.
📌 Objectives within a Pathway are marked with a hyphen (–) in the Objectives Tracker.
How Managers Use Pathways
Managers can view their team’s assigned Pathways and track completion across individuals. This visibility helps identify where sellers are making progress and where additional guidance may be needed.
Managers can also enroll team members in existing Pathways to reinforce coaching conversations and address performance needs.

Pathways help keep development focused. Instead of assigning training at random or relying on ad hoc coaching, Pathways offer a defined sequence of learning tied to specific skills. They help managers support their teams with more consistency and provide a shared reference point when tracking progress.
For organizations, Pathways also make it easier to align learning with role expectations and long-term performance goals, without adding unnecessary administrative burden.
