Overview
The Practice Library is a resource within the ASPS Insights that allows managers to view, evaluate, and support skill development through video-based practice submissions. These practice videos simulate real selling scenarios and are linked to key sales capabilities. Managers can use the Practice Library to track progress, provide feedback, and encourage peer-to-peer learning.
Accessing the Practice Library
To view practice submissions, select Practice from the left-hand navigation menu.
As a manager, you will see:
- Videos submitted by your direct reports
-
Videos shared with you by other users
What You’ll See
Each video submission includes:
- Objective title, submission date, and status (e.g., pending approval)
- Instructions provided by the assigning manager or admin
- The video submission itself
- Additional context such as who assigned it and what type of practice it is
You may also see:
- A written transcript
- User notes
Reviewing and Providing Feedback
After watching a video, managers can:
- Add comments for coaching
- Approve the submission (if required by the objective)
- Offer specific, constructive feedback to reinforce key behaviors
Example:
"Strong value proposition. Consider pausing more after key points to let them land."
Sharing Practice Submissions
To share a practice video from the detailed view:
- Click Share in the top-right corner.
- Choose a sharing level:
- Full Access: Includes the video, comments, and feedback
- Objective Only: Video only, without evaluation details
- Enter recipient details. They’ll be notified and can view the video from their Practice Library.
Filtering and Finding Videos
Use filters at the top of the Practice Library to find specific videos:
- By direct report
- By objective title
- By behavior or skill focus
This makes it easier to follow up on specific assignments or support recurring development needs.
Role-Based Visibility
- Managers see videos submitted by their downline or shared with them.
- Sellers see their own videos and any shared with them by others.
- Admins have full visibility across the organization.
Best Practices for Managers
- Review practice submissions regularly to reinforce key behaviors.
- Use comments to coach, not just correct.
- Encourage your team to review peer submissions to build a culture of shared learning.
Supported File Types

Additional Notes
- Not all .mov files are the same, and some may fail to upload or play correctly.
- This is typically due to either file size exceeding the limit or the video being encoded with an unsupported format.
