The My Team area is a dedicated workspace for managers to understand, manage, and support their team’s performance and development.
It provides a consolidated view of team activity, highlights where attention is needed, and enables managers to take action quickly.
From this area, managers can:
- Monitor the status of their team at a glance
- Identify actions that require manager input
- Navigate into individual sellers or second-line teams
- Trigger key activities such as reviews and objectives
Team Overview
The Team Overview is the landing page for My Team and provides a real-time snapshot of all direct reports.
It is designed to help managers quickly assess team status and identify where support or intervention may be needed.
Each team member is displayed as a card showing:
- Name and profile picture
- Job title
- Quick access to their profile
- Alerts highlighting status or required actions
Alerts
The alert system helps managers prioritize attention across the team.
Action Alerts
Action Alerts indicate something requiring manager action.
Example: An objective waiting for approval.
Awareness Alerts
Awareness Alerts highlight overdue, inactive, or at-risk items.
These alerts do not require immediate action but may help guide coaching conversations.
Manager Actions
Managers can take immediate action directly from the Team Overview.
Available actions include:
- Scheduling reviews for individuals or teams
- Setting objectives for one or multiple sellers
This provides quick access to common management activities without needing to navigate into each individual profile.
Direct Reports
By default, the Team Overview displays direct reports only.
This allows managers to:
- Quickly understand the status of each seller
- Identify where support or action is needed
- Access detailed seller views for additional insight
This focused layout helps simplify day-to-day team management.
Managing Managers
If a direct report is also a manager, additional options become available.
A team indicator icon displays the number of users reporting to that manager.
Managers can also select View Team to:
- Open that manager’s team view
- Navigate into second-line teams
- Maintain visibility across larger reporting structures
The same Team Overview interface is used throughout, making navigation consistent across all levels of the organization.
Seller View (Manager View)
Selecting View Profile for a seller opens the Seller Manager View.
This view is designed specifically for managers and differs from the seller’s personal homepage.
It brings together performance, development, learning, and activity data to support coaching and decision-making.
The Seller Manager View includes five tabs:
- Overview
- Reviews
- Pathways
- Library
- Objectives
Each tab provides a different perspective on the seller’s progress and development.
Seller Overview (Manager View)
The Overview tab gives managers a high-level understanding of where a seller should focus and how they are currently performing.
This view combines:
- Recommended development areas
- Supporting context
- Performance insights
At the center of this view are the recommended focus behaviors.
These are the top three behaviors identified by the recommendation engine as the most important development priorities for the seller.
The same recommended behaviors are also visible to the seller on their homepage, helping align manager coaching with seller priorities.
Each behavior includes:
- A short description
- The number of related learning courses
- The number of associated performance metrics
Selecting Show More expands additional details, including:
- How the behavior is measured
- Review ratings
- Supporting learning content
- Progress against related learning activities
Manager Actions
Managers can take action directly from the Overview tab.
Available actions include:
- Setting objectives linked to a behavior
- Flagging a behavior to prioritize it
Flagging a behavior:
- Pushes it to the seller’s highest priority area
- Overrides default recommendation ordering
- Remains active until removed by the manager
This allows managers to reinforce coaching priorities based on real-world observations and performance discussions.
Performance Metrics
The Overview tab also includes key performance metrics connected to focus behaviors.
Managers can:
- View trends over time
- Filter performance data
- Explore metrics in greater detail
This creates a strong foundation for coaching and performance conversations.
Seller Reviews
The Reviews tab provides visibility into all review activity for the seller.
From this tab, managers can:
- View scheduled and completed reviews
- Access summaries and detailed results
- Download reviews as PDFs
- Use review insights to support coaching discussions
This ensures review information is easy to access and actionable.
Seller Pathways
The Pathways tab focuses on structured learning journeys and development programs.
Managers can:
- View active and completed pathways
- Monitor pathway progress
- Enroll sellers into available pathways
This helps managers guide development in a structured and targeted way.
Seller Library
The Library tab provides a broader view of the seller’s learning and behavioral framework.
From this tab, managers can:
- View all behaviors assigned to the seller’s role
- See current ratings for each behavior
- Explore completed and in-progress learning activity
This helps managers understand:
- Overall capability coverage
- Engagement with learning content
- Areas that may require additional focus
Seller Objectives
The Objectives tab is where managers track and manage seller objectives.
Objectives are structured, time-bound actions designed to support behavior development and long-term skill application.
Objectives may be:
- Set directly by the manager as part of coaching and performance conversations
- Assigned at an organizational level to align with broader development priorities
Objectives are intended to reinforce behavior change and ensure learning is consistently applied over time.
Managing Objectives
Within this tab, managers can:
- View outstanding objectives requiring attention
- Track completed objectives over time
- Identify objectives awaiting manager action
- Filter objectives by status
Managers can also open individual objectives to:
- Review details and submissions
- Approve or complete objectives
- Use objectives as part of coaching conversations
This makes the Objectives tab a central place for managing development progress and reinforcing learning application.
Approving Objectives
Objective approval is available exclusively to managers.
Approving objectives:
- Confirms completion expectations were met
- Provides coaching opportunities
- Formally closes development activities
The layout may vary depending on the objective type:
- Standard objective
- Video Practice objective
- Metric-Based objective
Regardless of type, managers can review:
- Completion notes
- Submission details
- Behavior alignment
Providing Feedback
Managers can provide structured feedback in three areas:
- What worked
- What didn’t work
- What was missing
Managers can also provide a rating aligned to the related behavior.
Approval Actions
At the bottom of the objective, managers can select:
-
Save and Approve
Finalizes approval, sends a notification to the user, and includes your notes. -
Save and Return
Sends it back unapproved (marked in red), giving the seller a chance to revise and resubmit. -
Save Draft
Saves your feedback progress without sending it yet, ideal if you need more time before finalizing.
Managers may also:
- Leave comments
- Share objectives with others for visibility or collaboration
