To access Discussions, select Discussions from the left-hand navigation menu.
This opens a shared space where you can view resources, ask questions, and contribute. You can also search and filter content by behaviors, topics, popularity, and more.
Overview
Discussions is a central collaboration area where users can access, share, and request learning and enablement materials.
It helps teams capture and reuse knowledge such as:
- Best practices
- Reference documents
- Product or persona guidance
Key Actions
Discussions supports two primary actions:
Ask a Question
Users can post questions to the community.
Example: “Do we have any case studies for X industry?”
Once answered, responses remain available for future users, helping reduce duplicate questions and improve knowledge reuse.
Questions may also be marked as featured to increase visibility in notifications or on the home screen.
Share Knowledge
Users can share resources, tools, and learning materials with others.
This is commonly used to post:
- Documents
- Best practices
- Learning aids
- External resources or tools
Each post can be tagged to relevant behaviors or topics to improve discoverability.
Discussion Posts
Each item in Discussions is displayed as a card.
Each card includes:
- Title
- Number of answers (for questions)
- Author and submission date
- Behavior tags
- Engagement metrics (such as likes or attachments)
Viewing a Post
Selecting a post opens the full discussion thread.
From here, you can:
- View all replies
- Access attached documents or links
- Follow shared resources
When responding, users can:
- Enter a text response
- Attach supporting files or assets (if enabled), such as links from tools like Gong, Google Drive, YouTube, SharePoint, or file uploads
Filters and Search
You can filter and search Discussions to find relevant content quickly.
Available options include:
- Sort by date, popularity (likes), or number of responses
- Search by keyword, behavior tag, or topic
- Filter by answered or unanswered questions
This is especially useful for identifying open questions or finding high-value contributions.
Example
A manager wants to share a high-performing sales call.
They select Share Knowledge, locate the recording via an integrated tool (for example Gong), and post it with a tag such as Handle Objections so others can easily find it.
Value of Discussions
Discussions acts as a living knowledge base that evolves over time.
It ensures that insights, answers, and best practices are not lost in one-off conversations but remain available for ongoing learning and reuse across the organization.
