Get to Know Pathways
Pathways are guided learning journeys that help you focus on building the specific skills you need to succeed. Pathways give you a clear, structured way to develop your capabilities, stay on track, and apply what you’ve learned in real sales scenarios.
They’re designed to support you where you are today and help you move toward your goals with a focused plan.
What Is It?
Pathways are personalized development plans. Each one walks you through a series of targeted tasks, learning modules, and checkpoints. They’re tailored to your role and needs, and they adjust over time as your skills and performance evolve.
You’ll be assigned Pathways based on capability goals, team focus areas, or individual performance data. Your manager may also assign you to a Pathway to help support your development more intentionally.
What You'll See in a Pathway
Pathways are built using Objectives. You’ll work through these in order and can track your progress along the way. There are a few different types of Objectives you may encounter:
- Standard Objectives: Traditional capability-building tasks that focus on a specific skill.
- Video Pitchback: You'll record a pitch or response to a scenario and submit it for review and feedback.
- Metrics-Based Objectives: These tie directly to your performance data and give you a goal to work toward.
- Learning Objectives: These point you to relevant content, like eLearning modules or micro-lessons, that reinforce what you’re working on.
Your Pathway may also include a time frame for completion. This helps keep momentum and ensures that development stays aligned with the pace of your role or team goals.
Where to Find It
Pathways are easy to access, whether you're checking in daily or planning your development over time.
- From the Performance Dashboard: If a Pathway objective is due, you’ll see it highlighted under Today’s Focus.
- Notifications: You may receive alerts about new Pathways or deadlines in the top banner.
- Main Menu: Navigate to Develop > Pathways to view all assigned Pathways and your progress.
- For Managers: Managers can view their team's progress through Track > Pathways, with options to filter by Pathway, team member, or date.
